Per the advice of nearly everyone in the comments that appear under the previous post, I'm trying out Firefox for blog posting. I'm not seeing any new features above and beyond what I've always noticed in Internet Explorer, but at least I've now been schooled in the art of saving drafts. Time will tell whether the platform is more stable; I'm certainly hopeful. But I should still make myself write posts in a text editor first.

Steve, the "post on" feature down there is also useful. I use it to backdate posts that I'm putting into my blog archive — i.e, old articles that I don't want to have popping up on my blog's front page or extra pages of soundfiles and so on. Also, I can schedule posts to run in the future, if I'm going to be on vacation or some such.
