When the Features team at Time Out New York asked me and my fellow music staffers to find a handful of crafty local musicians who would be willing to write new holiday songs for the magazine -- on a very short deadline, and for the sheer glory of it -- I thought we'd come up empty. Serves me right for failing to believe in the spirit of the season: Go here and feast your ears on delightful new songs from Benji Cossa, Corey Dargel, Gabriel Kahane and Graham Smith. I can hardly express my gratitude to this generous foursome.
