Hi Steve. I love your playlists. One thing I wish was added to the mix; an asterisk next to those recordings that aren't new releases. That way we can see how new and old inform the list.

Intriguing idea, Christian. I wonder if I've unconsciously avoided making that distinction for some reason that even I might not grasp. I'll definitely give it some thought. One question that comes to my mind immediately, though, is what constitutes a "new" release? Something issued during the actual period in which a given list is compiled - usually a week or two? Or should there be a longer period of qualification?
