Here comes the flood, redux.

Once in a while – much more frequently than I'd prefer – I'll hit a patch in which I find myself too busy to take even the five, ten or fifteen minutes required to post one of my New York Times reviews here for a day or three. Given that I usually review three performances a week for the Times, above and beyond any CD reviews, features or blog bits I might contribute, the missed posts add up quickly, and I never post anything out of order. What results is an enormous backlog of things in need of blogging by the time I get around to doing so: a prospect that in itself becomes daunting.

All of which is meant to preface the gush of reviews you're about to see. If you're one of the few folks who still has Night After Night on some kind of RSS feed, I apologize in advance. Again.
