The Goings On About Town section in The New Yorker has begun a gradual return to its conventional format, with live, in-person events taking greater precedence among the album reviews and online events that replaced them throughout pandemic quarantine months. P.S. It's not in error that I failed to post a Goings On About Town pick for the Oct. 11 issue last week; rather, the events I wrote about were postponed indefinitely and we learned in time to withdraw the listing, which is in storage until its time comes again.
